Beanbags

Beanbags are available again! Get in touch if you’d like to place an order.

An attraction to the graphics on used green coffee bean sacks (originally sourced for mulching the new fruit trees) got me thinking about a more permanent re-use for them—it happens that the fruit trees are next to the sleepout where we keep an old industrial sewing machine—so I started cutting and sewing and the first beanbag was created.
Initially just the market bag, the tote quickly developed to give me a larger canvas for the graphics. Justin at Upshot was impressed and requested a ‘man-bag’ with a long strap so the shoulder bag was next. Small came last with the smaller satchel style quickly becoming very popular. There are more ideas in development – watch this space!

I am happy to make to order – provided I have the empty sacks and coloured lining you’d like available.
